Overview


Interstates is currently seeking a talented and motivated Service Foreman to join our team. Your role will be to work with our internal team, our customers and other Data Center contractors to proviide accurate and efficient commissioning services,

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with owner and manufacturing reps to successfully test, troubleshoot and commission low voltage equipment.
  • Tests, configure parameters and verifies electrical systems are optimized to meet client expectations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair 480V 120V and 24VDC within panels including power wiring, control wiring, PLC components, relays and power supplies.
  • A strong level of experience working with low-voltage power distribution electrical systems.
  • Proficient with schematics, technical drawings and manuals to identify issues and repair equipment.
  • Able to connect and communicate with various vendor equipment to effectively confirm, load or update configurations.
  • Demonstrate effective time management, teamwork, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Minimum 3 year possession of a current Journeyman's license
  • Superior safety record
  • Great communication skills
  • 5 years of service or maintenance experience required
  • Prior experience with Data Centers and proficiency in PLC programming, HMI development
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Travel: This position requires regional travel to job sites within a 100-mile radius of Hermiston, OR

This role is expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Candidates should be comfortable working in these conditions and complying with safety standards to protect their well-being.
